The software supports multi-currency, multi-company, multi-branch & multi-warehouse processing providing a flexible solution for many different needs. OpenLogistix provides a functionally rich, windows based product with processing rules driven by the order cycle system control routines & a background management support system that allows for a wide range of parameter driven features to support the operation, ensuring a package solution which caters for many different needs without requiring extensive & costly bespoke add-ons.

E-OpenLogistix

E-OpenLogistix offers users a simple, easy to use & understand web based browser interface module for core & non-core system users. The module is designed to offer our customers a high degree of flexibility for both intranet & extranet users. The system is built around an n-tier architecture in order to offer maximum scope in a cost effective way. The design principles also allow screens to be configured to customer requirements.

Sales Order Processing

Sales Order Processing functionality covers all aspects of the Sales Order lifecycle allowing great flexibility for a variety of business processes. Orders can be processed for both Stock & Non-stock items employing an optional number of stages using the OpenLogistix Workflow methodology. Back-to-Back processing ensures that shortfalls within Purchasing & Manufacturing are automatically managed. Numerous Invoicing & Reverse Logistics options exist to provide the maximum flexibility & management control.

CRM

The Customer Relationship Management module provides a full Analysis & Relationship suite which can work independently or work in unison with Quotations & Sales Order Management. Links to industry standard Post Code Recognition software enable data integrity & the ability for full campaign management & effective analysis. Seamless integration to other back-office applications e.g. Oracle, MFG/PRO provides a flexible & easy-to-use application.

Purchase Order Processing

Purchase Order Processing covers the whole Purchase Order lifecycle. Purchase Orders can be triggered through various means e.g. SOP/WOP shortfalls, Requisitions, Schedules or through manual generation. This flexibility to employ varied processes for different needs is handled by OpenLogistix Workflow. Documentation is delivered through paper, fax or e-mail using Microsoft Mail-Merge facilities. Import Management capabilities include B/L capture, Landed Cost Apportionment and Transport Ordering. Comprehensive Goods Receipt functionality includes enquiries which support & facilitate effective Invoice Matching.

Inventory Management

Inventory Management functionality covers all aspects of the Product Lifecycle providing great flexibility. Detailed & complex processing around products is structured either by their product codes or using other collectives such as Types, Groups & also Analysis using user-defined codes. Product Management is aided by Multi-Warehouse Processing, (Bins & Areas) allowing for cross-company selling & stock transfer. Full audit trails of stock movements are provided & include referencing by Batch, Serial & Lot numbers. A stock-taking suite is inclusive & includes perpetual inventory control.

Works Order Processing

Works Order Processing functionality covers all aspects of the Works Order lifecycle allowing great flexibility for a variety of business processes. Works Ordering covers the capture & processing of component parts from order placement to finished assembly through configurable stages. Multi-Level BOM’s (Bill of Material) can be managed effectively through the use of Schedules & Version Control. Full Product Costing accumulates Overheads, Labour & Component Costs enabling effective & timely P&L reporting. Work-in-Progress processing provides detailed and flexible capacity planning.

Material Requirements Planning

MRP functionality complements the Purchasing & Works Order Processing modules: it is designed to provide the Purchasing & Works Managers with raw material & manufactured goods requirements, period by period to satisfy sales demand. Sales History & Forecasts can be combined with current Sales, Purchasing & Stock Levels for suggested Buying & Manufacturing Plans.

Primary Distribution Function

The Primary Distribution functions provides a powerful solution which manages 3rd Party Logistics operations from the Collection of Goods through the Distribution Network & out to the Customer. The Invoicing & Self-Billing module is fully integrated with the Distribution & Financial modules providing a complete solution. Agreements offering a comprehensive set of business rules can be defined & configured for specific customer’s needs. All appropriate types of activities including Reverse Logistics, Multiple Drops & Double Manning are supported.
