Employee Costing Whilst paying your employees on time is essential, understanding how your employees costs are distributed is important for making future management decisions within your organisation. The costing reports and interface can be defined simply at company level or in more detail down to the allocation of an employees time over multiple cost codes with the facility to cost individual elements to a variety of expense codes. Automated Back Pay When pay awards are delayed this module provides a means of fully automating the back pay calculation over a user definable number of pay periods. Different increments can be applied by job grade and pay element. Time & Attendance Interface Whilst OpenPeople can be provided with the fully integrated time & attendance module, facilities are made available to interface current period information from third party products. BACS Communication The ALBACS module allows the user to directly transmit employee payments and deductions to BACS.Multiple bank accounts per employee is supported. For users who already have a BACS payment system in place the standard payroll module will provide the BACS payment files to be transmitted. Training Training and development of employees is a vital requirement and this module is designed to follow the process from initial identification of training needs through to booking of courses and venues. It offers the facility to maintain details of courses, course providers, locations and costs together with instances of available courses. Employees can be booked on courses according to their individual training plan and a full history is maintained Absence Recording Any type of absence can be recorded on the system and unlimited history is automatically maintained. Entitlement and totalling can be attached to any type of absence allowing for easy analysis of the data through the report writing functions. Graphical analysis of absences is available allowing for sickness patterns to be easily identified. Recruitment The recruitment module allows you to hold details of all outstanding vacancies and to follow the process through selection of potential candidates, setting up of interviews to finally creating a job offer. The candidate database allows you to match potential candidates using skill or market based criteria and to generate all the appropriate letters and references.
